The Sea Island Legacy Fund was established to support Sea Island team members facing unexpected and severe financial hardship. Rooted in Sea Island’s long-standing culture of care and commitment, the fund reflects the organization’s belief that its team members are at the heart of its legacy of gracious hospitality.

For nearly a century, Sea Island has fostered a strong sense of community among its team, many of whom have dedicated decades of service. The Legacy Fund extends that tradition by providing a meaningful way to support employees during times of need. Assistance is provided by covering essential expenses—such as housing, utilities, or medical costs—directly to service providers on behalf of eligible team members.

Held and managed by the Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation and administered in partnership with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the fund ensures a thoughtful and structured approach to providing support. This collaboration allows for responsible stewardship while delivering timely assistance to those who need it most.

Contributions to the Sea Island Legacy Fund help sustain a culture of care, ensuring that team members are supported during difficult times and can continue their commitment to serving guests, members, and one another.
