Helping People in Need (HPIN) was founded by Celia Young, whose compassion for others began at just seven years old. With a strong desire to make a difference in her community, Celia turned that passion into action by creating HPIN, an initiative focused on supporting local needs and uplifting others.

Through HPIN, Celia raises funds and directs 100% of the proceeds to assist local nonprofits and individuals facing challenging circumstances. She thoughtfully selects projects that address immediate needs and reflect causes that are meaningful to her. Over the years, her efforts have supported organizations such as Hope 1312, Sparrow’s Nest, Communities in Schools, and Safe Harbor, as well as individual families, including providing assistance to a family whose infant underwent a heart transplant.

Now at age 12, Celia continues to expand her impact by working alongside her friends to identify needs within the community and take action to meet them. Her work is a powerful example of how compassion, initiative, and community engagement—at any age—can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
