The Catholic Education Fund was established to honor President John F. Kennedy’s belief that “children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.” Guided by this principle, the fund invests in the lives of young people by providing need-based scholarships to students from St. William Catholic Church on St. Simons Island, enabling them to attend St. Francis Xavier Catholic School in Brunswick.
By helping to remove financial barriers, the fund ensures that more children have access to a faith-based education that supports academic achievement, personal growth, and spiritual development. These scholarships not only benefit individual students, but also strengthen families and the broader community by fostering opportunity and long-term success.
President Kennedy also reminded us that while children may face challenges beyond their control, they should never be limited by a lack of support. Contributions to the Catholic Education Fund help fulfill that vision—providing students with the resources they need to thrive and reinforcing a shared commitment to investing in the next generation.
Through this fund, donors play a meaningful role in supporting children, strengthening families, and building a brighter future for our community.
