Morningstar Children and Family Services Fund supports the mission of Morningstar to provide residential care and community-based counseling services to children, youth, and families across Coastal Georgia. Founded in 1996, Morningstar was established with a vision of connecting children to brighter days and has since grown into a comprehensive organization offering both therapeutic residential care and outpatient mental health services.
Based in Brunswick, Morningstar’s main campus spans 25 acres and provides a structured, supportive environment for young people—primarily ages 12 to 21—with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral and mental health needs. Through its residential program, Morningstar offers wrap-around care that addresses the psychological, social, educational, and physical needs of each individual. In partnership with local schools, residents also receive specialized education services designed to help them achieve academic progress and long-term success.
In addition to residential care, Morningstar operates community counseling centers that provide mental health assessments, therapy, crisis intervention, and medication management for children and adolescents. These services are designed to support families and caregivers while helping young people build stability, resilience, and healthy relationships.

The organization strives to create a sanctuary where healing takes place through meaningful relationships, individualized care, and a supportive community environment.
